Donation & Refund Policy

Elev8 Jamaica, Inc. ("Elev8 JA") is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 42-3528355) based in Winter Haven, Florida. We are grateful for every gift and are committed to handling donations responsibly and transparently.

Donations are voluntary contributions

All donations to Elev8 Jamaica, Inc. are voluntary charitable contributions made to support our mission of training at-risk youth in Jamaica through AI and digital entrepreneurship. No goods or services are provided in exchange for a donation unless expressly stated at the time of giving. Donations may be tax-deductible in the United States to the extent allowed by law; please consult your tax advisor.

Payment processing

Donations are processed securely by Stripe. A receipt is emailed to the address you provide at checkout. If you do not receive a receipt within a few minutes, please check your spam folder or contact us at info@elev8jamaica.com.

Refunds

Because donations directly fund our programs, all contributions are generally considered final and non-refundable. However, we understand that mistakes happen. We will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

• The donation was made in error (for example, an incorrect amount or duplicate charge).
• The donation was unauthorized or made fraudulently.
• Applicable law requires a refund.

To request a refund, email info@elev8jamaica.com within 30 days of the transaction with your name, the donation amount, the date of the donation, and the reason for the request. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. If a tax receipt was issued, you agree that the refunded amount cannot be claimed as a charitable deduction.

Recurring (monthly) donations

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by emailing info@elev8jamaica.com. Cancellation stops future charges; past monthly contributions are non-refundable except as described above. Billing continues through the end of the current billing period.

Sponsor-a-Student and designated gifts

Donations designated to a specific program (such as Meal Sponsor, Curriculum Sponsor, or Full-Camp Sponsor) will be used for that purpose. If the designated program is fully funded or cannot be carried out, Elev8 Jamaica, Inc. reserves the right to redirect the funds to the area of greatest need consistent with our mission.

Disputes and chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can resolve the issue quickly.
